The 2016 Digital Dealer Conference served as a reminder of why this technology-driven exposition is one of our favorite shows of the year. Not only does the show regularly draw over 1,000 dealers and managers along with hundreds of OEM personnel, but Digital Dealer’s attendees also share our vision of a brighter future for the automotive industry: one in which dealers and their customers will reap the rewards of a more effective marketing strategy.
New 3 Birds solutions herald exciting possibilities
We proudly proclaimed that “all roads lead to 3 Birds,” a mantra that was borne out by a steady stream of traffic to our booth over the weekend. Progressive dealers from around the country stopped by to learn more about how our new real-time conquest data visualization tool and live inventory integration help reveal the hidden value within your customer database – and without.

We were also thrilled to share our insights with large groups of dealers through two highly-rated group sessions. Bill Egan, Vice President of Business Development, kicked off the conference with his digital marketing presentation Monday at 8 AM. It’s no secret that the days of cookie-cutter marketing are gone – one size no longer fits all. For many dealers, though, questions remain about the best way to move forward in this brave new world.
“Behavior is more important than a customer’s previous transaction history,” said Bill. “By segmenting your customer database, you can customize your messaging to better resonate with each client.”
Your customers are unique individuals, shouldn’t they be treated accordingly? Utilizing your data in the right ways is key to finding success in your long-term strategy.
Kristen Judd, CEO and Co-Founder, upped the ante on the data discussion when she took the stage Monday afternoon.
“Everybody loves data and likes to talk about big data, but most dealers aren’t in a position to work well with it because it’s all over the place,” Kristen explained. “Now, we’re showing dealers that they can look at data in a different way.”
By helping dealers understand the lifetime value and unique behavioral patterns of customers, Kristen provided much-needed insight to a customer’s loyalty and value that stretches far beyond their last transaction.
