
At NADA 100, dealers were asking a lot of questions. But the one they were asking loudest was, “How can I make my marketing communications match changing customer behavior?”

That’s why we arrived at the show ready to help dealers maximize their marketing spend in 2017 with dynamic, consumer-directed marketing streams that align with their real-world sales and service objectives. We were prepared for a positive response, but the reception surprised even us—especially when our platform won a 2017 Automotive Website Award from PCG in the Marketing Solutions category.
“Every dealer that saw our platform for the first time was thoroughly impressed,” said Geoff Brooks, 3 Birds’ Director of Operations. “Some dealers still thought of us as just a newsletter company, so when they saw everything else we had to offer, they were blown away.”
Today, the newsletter of old has become our “Core Communication,” and it’s just the start of what we do. The Core Communication engages dealerships’ entire databases on a monthly basis with new model reviews, feature articles, service coupons, and more. All of that content helps ensure there’s something for everyone regardless of where they are in the purchasing lifecycle – and with 86% of the average dealership’s CRM consisting of unsold leads, sparking that ongoing connection is more important than ever.
While our technology speaks for itself, 3 Birds also stood out at the show for another reason. In addition to our friendly sales team, we also brought out innovators, marketing strategists, content creators, and more to showcase the diversity of the 3 Birds marketing philosophy and all that goes into making it a reality. One of the attendees was Social Media Strategist Emily Bower, who attended the show for the first time.
“As someone who doesn’t have the opportunity to connect with our clients in person every day, attending NADA 100 was a great opportunity for me to talk with current clients, meet new ones, and show the power of our platform to dealers who are looking for a one-stop-shop digital marketing solution,” she said. “I’m already looking forward to next year!”
