Friends and employees of 3 Birds Marketing will be trying their hands for a royal flush (or at least a full house) at our first-ever Charity Poker Tournament. The official date and time will be announced closer to the event.
We invite you to bring your poker face and join our table. Proceeds from our tournament will benefit TABLE NC, a local non-profit organization that serves the youth in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro community with fresh, healthy food every week.
Thirty percent of children in our community rely on school-funded lunches as their only reliable meal, and they often go without during weekends and summers. Thanks to organizations such as TABLE, that statistic is changing. Founded in 2007, TABLE now feeds 500 children, ages 3 – 14, each week through their Weekend Meal Backpack Program. Volunteers package fresh produce, healthy non-perishables, and fresh milk, which is then delivered to students at their school or after-school center.
Everything that we do here at 3 Birds reflects the values that make our company unique, and this event is no different. Like so many of our dealership clients, 3 Birds takes our role within our local community seriously and looks for ways to give back to the town that has been so good to us. In typical 3 Birds fashion, we’re incorporating some fun competition in our efforts to fight hunger right here at home and we’re inviting all of our friends. We hope you’ll join us.
